Money button

Getting started

At Fabriik, we have incorporated the Money Button platform to function as the wallet solution for our closed beta tokenization platform.

Money Button is a non-custodial wallet and never has access to your funds. All funds are held client-side in a wallet encrypted with a hash of your password that our company never sees. We cannot access, block, reverse, freeze, confiscate, or inflate away your funds. All funds are 100% the responsibility of the users who send funds directly to other users without going through an intermediary.

At Money Button, there are two ways to create an account. Below are the steps for each option:

Option 1: Creating an account from moneybuton.com

  • Go to moneybutton.com
  • Click Sign up
  • Fill in your email address and password (2x)
  • A verification email from Money Button will be sent to your registered email address, click verify on that email to confirm your account.
  • Once you have verified your account, make sure to click on your mnemonics and save them in case you ever run into account troubles.

Option 2: Third-Party App

  • Swipe the button on your third party app
  • Fill in your email address and password
  • Verify email address and you are all set up
  • Note: to view your mnemonics, you can log into your account on the moneybutton.com website. It is very important that you save these in case of potential account errors. Your mnemonics are your identity verification.

Mnemonics is a twelve-word security phrase that Money Button uses to confirm an individual’s identity and allow users to recover their money if they lose the password to their account.

It’s important to remember your mnemonics when creating an account because your twelve-word mnemonics is the only identification process that Money Button accepts. Without this security phrase, you cannot log back into your account if you forget your login password and you cannot recover your money that will be held once locked out of your account.

On the behalf of the Money Button team, we stress the urgency of keeping your mnemonics on record in case any of the issues above occur.

Paymail is a new identity protocol for Bitcoin that removes Bitcoin addresses from the user experience. Instead of addresses, Paymail uses human-readable names that look exactly the same as email addresses. Paymails are much easier to write, type or tap into a phone than Bitcoin addresses.

Paymail was designed and developed collaboratively by nChain, Money Button, Handcash, Centbee, and Electrum SV for the benefit of the entire Bitcoin ecosystem. Paymail is open and free to use for any application on Bitcoin (BSV). For more information you can read our blog post here: Introducing Paymail

Account management

If you lose the password to your Money Button account, you can reset it by clicking ‘I forgot my password’ on the login page.

Once that is completed, we will send you a verification email with a password reset link.

You can reset your password if you are already logged into your Money Button account.

  1. Go to settings by clicking the cog at the top of the screen. Click on your profile and search for your password and click “Change my password”.
  2. Provide your old password and the new one you wish to use. (No mnemonic required)

I have reset my password and signed back into Money Button. Why is my balance in the wallet empty?

Your card will state that you have money on hold because we first need to verify that it is you. By clicking on ‘you have money on hold’ and filling in your correct mnemonic, our team can guarantee that it is you.

Once that is done, your balance will show in your wallet again.

It is important to understand that Money Button is a non-custodial wallet. We never have access to your money. When you add funds to your Money Button wallet, we require you to save your mnemonic (a twelve-word security phrase).

This is because if you forget your password, your money is automatically put on hold. To recover your password, you need to use your old mnemonic when adding funds. See the following steps:

  1. Go to your money on hold.
  2. Click on the funds you are trying to recover.
  3. Write down your mnemonic.

Once completed, your recovered funds will appear on your balance.

In case you have not saved your mnemonic, you can try remembering your old password. If you can’t remember either, unfortunately there is nothing Money button the wallet can do to help you recover your funds.

Getting started

To ensure we are providing the best possible service and improving the experience we have launched the platform in a closed beta. To gain access to it please fill out the application form on www.fabriik.com/tokenization/contact and our team will review this and grant you access so that you can sign up.

Accessing Fabriik’s Digital Asset platform is easy and fast using your Money Button account.

Follow these three simple steps:

  1. Login with your existing Money Button account or sign up at https://www.moneybutton.com/register
  2. Choose your username. Make sure it is memorable as this will be used by others to transfer tokens to you.
  3. Start creating tokens.

Our service is currently free while in closed beta. Once we are out of the closed beta, pricing will be communicated on our website to ensure transparency.

Account management

Follow these 3 simple and easy steps:

  1. Go to https://fabriik.com/da and click “Forgot password?”.
  2. Provide your email address and a password recovery code will then be sent to that email.
  3. Enter the password recovery code and create a new password.

You can find your Paymail address in your account at Fabriik by simply logging in. (Your Paymail address is different to your login address)

At Fabriik we understand that you may input your email incorrectly so we give you the option to change your email. To do this, you must contact Fabriik support where a Dev Team member will be notified and a customer service rep will contact you once your email address has been updated.

The difference between both:

  • Paymail is a system to provide identity inside the BSV ecosystem. You can send money to a Paymail address or identify yourself in an app using your Paymail address.
  • Transfer code is the digits that you key in to confirm the transfer. This is similar to a PIN code.

Your transfer code is sent by email when you create your account. If you look for that email, you will be able to find it there. In the instance that you deleted that email, sadly there is no way to restore it. You will need to reset your account.

Fabriik is committed to upholding a high level of integrity and adhering to best market practices. Should there be any potential conflicts we will always act in the best interest of our customers.

Tokenization & token management

Create a token in less than 5 minutes:

  1. Sign up (all you need is an email and password)
  2. Verify your email
  3. Create a username for your Paymail address.
  4. Create your utility token (name, code & quantity)

Follow these three simple steps:

  1. Enter the Paymail or BitcoinSV address of the recipient
  2. Enter the number of tokens you’d like to transfer
  3. Enter your transfer code

Currently you cannot delete tokens. As of now, you can only create and transfer tokens until a solution to burn and delete tokens has been confirmed.

Once you’ve created your token, we’ve made it easier for you to build them into your customer’s journey through our integrations with Zapier. Everything is done on BitcoinSV, meaning the speed and cost are the best on the market so you don’t have to think about block size.

During our closed beta we want to keep token numbers and transfers limited to ensure we can test and improve the product and experience with you. As a thank you for joining the invitation-only launch of Fabriik, we have gifted each of you 2000 free transactions and five token creations. This will change once we move the product to beta.

Currently, tokens can only be transferred internally to Fabriik paymails. This will change in the future.

Follow these 3 simple steps:

  1. Click on the Paymail address on the left. You should see a pop-up screen with your Paymail address and public address.
  2. Copy your public address and go to this site https://whatsonchain.com/
  3. Paste your public address into the search bar.

You will be taken to a new screen that shows the tokens created and transactions at the address. Note that you will only see the string of code that represents the tokens on this page.

At Fabriik, our immediate goal is to expand our utility token offering. Concurrently, we are working towards offering security tokens and stablecoins. Additionally, we will continue to leverage the expertise and awesome work of the Money Button team to launch new and improved features.

Yes. As we develop our platform and token capabilities, our platform will allow for customized smart contracts in the future without the limitations of other blockchains.
